JANE ELLEN LOUISE BEAL
Jane Beal is a poet, musician, and visual artist. As a visual artist, she creates commissioned collage art works for interested individuals and organizations. As part of her work, she synthesizes "found-art" images in her collages, photographs them, and reproduces them to create her original SacredArt prints, cards, and devotional art books. Her SacredArt images draw on medieval Christian traditions of icon-making and stained-glass window design in the hopes of inspiring others to spiritual reflection and a deeper connection to the love of God. I started writing poetry a few years ago and have truly enjoyed it. I love making my poetry into cards, I have found this hobby very rewarding.
My inspiration comes from children, heartbreak, nature, family, love; all those things we sometimes take for granted but that are the foundation of a life fully lived. I hope to give those who read my poems a message of hope and gratitude. |
