I am not sure i would consider myself an artist even though i do take all the photographs of our cats. It is challenging sometimes to photograph animals since they never hold still and listen when i tell them to say cheese! It has been a pleasure for me to work with cats and i am excited about capturing the true beauty of these animals. It is so amazing how special these cats are and hopefully i will be able to convey this with my photographs.

My name is Esperanza, I am originally from Colombia but have lived many years in the USA. My passion is color ! Although I do not have a university education in art, I have taken different classes in oils, acrylics and water colours. I used to paint with oils but prefer the less toxic methods and currently work with acrylic, water colours and pastels. Creating with pastels is especially enjoyable for me. I am not a professional but I love to take pictures and work with them in the computer.

Lynne has been an artist ever since she was a small girl living in Northwestern Minnesota. After 18 years of small town life, Lynne moved to the Twin Cities and attended the University of Minnesota where she received a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism and Art. Although she's worked in many other artistic mediums, her first love will always be photography. Lynne has done everything from photographing weddings and events to creating tiny scenes with plastic army men, but her favorite canvas is nature. Lynne continues to crave learning new ways to be creative. Most recently she has taken classes to learn stained glass methods, art glass fusing, and working with fine silver.

As fantasy artist and Illustrator living in Lake Oswego in the state of Oregon I am inspired by the magical ivy covered woods and misty pacific coastline… I couldnt imagine a place on this earth without my magical worlds…A world without the wee folk and the realm of Faerie..is just nowhere I could imagine or want to be.To create their world is to breath…Thank you all for taking the time to view my art and your comments are appreciated as always…One way can be learned by starting to see the magic in everything. Sometimes it seems to be hiding but it is always there. The more we can see the magic in one thing, a tiny flower, a mango, someone we love, then the more we are able to see the magic in everything and in everyone. Where does the lavender field stop and the sky begin?....

Jennifer Blomgren
I was raised in Forks, Washington, a small, isolated logging town in the Pacific Northwest. The average rainfall of twelve FEET gave rise to many wild and woolly expeditions out in nature and, needless to say, a number of creative indoor hobbies. In other words, I drove my patient mother to distraction by tackling large and very messy art projects in the kitchen, which quickly spread to the whole house. The close-knit town, packed with many gifted and generous colorful characters, helped me learn to tackle whatever I wanted to try, and encouraged me to be an individualist above all else. In my early twenties, I became a Registered Nurse to support my art and craft habit, but was sidelined by an injury; and while recovering began to doodle greeting cards to stay in touch with my family and friends. Thus Twenty Four Carrot was born. Through the generous support of my loved ones, and the financial assistance of the Washington State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, my fledgling card company grew from 36 boxes on the dining room floor to international distribution, and has branched out to include other styles. The cards are made to bring joy and closeness to our lives, reaching out to let someone know how important they are, and remembering that life, love and the human connection are the most precious gifts we have. Creating them has brought me great joy and I hope that they will, with a laugh or a smile, make someone's day.
