I bought my first DSLR (Sony A300) about 1 year ago and I’m loving the creative possibilities it allows. I absolutely love landscape photography especially up in the highlands of Scotland and also enjoy taking abstract macros in the comfort of my home. I served in the USMC straight out of high school and was discharged early for medical reasons. Since then I found a career as a computer technician and worked for wonderful companies, Intel, Dell, and State Farm to name a few. Through out all that time I felt like something was missing. I found my current soul mate in August of 2000 and couldn't be happier. Medical problems have elevated to a point along with current circumstances that have left me unemployed and able to follow my desires in photography and art. I have a strong creative love and desire to just be me and create. |

Hello! My name is Christine. I am a full-time artist/entrepreneur, who lives in a little house in Guelph Ontario, Canada, with a husband, four cats, and a pug.
I have enjoyed drawing and painting for as long as I can remember, and have always dreamt of making art my full-time career. When I was a kid, I used to make my pocket money by painting small flower pots for my grandmother and her friends in the summer, and I later expanded my "business" to include murals on potting sheds as well as name plaques and signs for gardens. That annual summer venture ignited an entrepreneurial spark in me.
I have an education in marketing, and I have worked in many fields, from customer service to textile design, but my passion has always been my art - I am always called back to my pencils and brushes.
I mostly work with acrylics, graphite, and canvas, but I love to try new things and I am constantly looking to expand my creative options. You will notice that the designs are varied and changing all the time as I experiment with different styles... I am still finding my voice when it comes to my art. |
